At the end, it said "Series 3" is now available (to buy). I thought this was Series 2?

Were Series 1 & 2 shown in Scotland only or was the promotion of it just too low-key?

Hinterland has a similar feel but, as far as I can tell, even the English-language version of the second series has not been screened nationwide, yet. I'm wondering if it took the slots where Shetland might have been shown, in other regions?

According to Wikipedia, series one consisted of two programmes as a pilot and series two and three (the one just finished) had six each.

I agree Quizzywig - excellent indeed! Super acting from the actress who played "Tosh". So sad Douglas Henshall has gone from our screens, and all that lovely scenery!

Could be a SPOILER! I'd ask from the first episode why the girl had got off the bus to go to that farmhouse, applying the Marple rule, the least likely person dunnit.
