I don't usually watch it but I have seen a few episodes in the last week because I wanted to see the climax of the Hillman cards story. Unfortunately I missed/forgot the Sunday episode. What happened? Was there some sort of twist? From the episodes from Friday and Monday, it seems that David sent the cards. Is this true? How did they find out? On Ceefax and here and on some other websites, some people have said that it was (a) David (b) actually Maria (c) David took the blame for someone else even though it wasn't him. Who is Maria? Why would David confess if
it wasn't him?

david sent the cards, they arrested phil, and then gail said she didn't want to persue it further.

she then took him to the police station and told them it was david and they gave him a warning after audrey had given him a few slaps

And Sarah chased him round the room hitting him with a magazine!
