Perhaps the best-known statement in that sermon is the one that is often called the Golden Rule. It has to do with how we treat others. “Just as you want men to do to you, do the same way to them,” said Jesus. (Luke 6:31)

I could tell you a few stories regards Goodlifes " How Should We Treat Other's"
Sir, I thought I had friends, " I did when I'd do something for them but they always had something to do when I needed help, now I would struggle rather than ask & I have done the struggling a few times, I have very strange ways, but that's me.

Alec @ I am sorry to hear of your experience. I can't understand this because genuine JWs would always abide by the scriptural principle of "Love your neighbour as yourself". Of course, it could be that they are not genuine witnesses, as there are many who say they are and actually they are only studying, or have left. But if you want to check it out, go to the local Kingdom Hall and check it out for yourself. Don't just go by hearsay, check it out!! I did!

Another thing, JWs do not let their children die. We would search out the best medical care there is to preserve our lives. We do accept transfusions, but not of whole blood. In fact it is now acceptable that many non witnesses do not accept transfusions but will take the alternatives that witnesses take.
So really, none of you know anything about JWs. All you have is propaganda and hearsay.
Goodlife, //JWs would always abide by the scriptural principle of "Love your neighbour as yourself". //

Are JWs a sad lot too then? That's what you always call the rest of us.

No need, Goodlife. They visit me. Far too gloomy for my liking.

goodlife has discovered a new way of not answering questions.
What a pile of faeces, goodlife! There is one of your halls very near here, that's why so many JW's live in this area. They are not "studying" and they have not left. They all behave in this snotty, "I'm better than you" way, so what is it that they teach you in your 'Kingdom Halls"? ("Kingdom - why?)
"We do accept transfusions, but not of whole blood". So if your child was in an accident and needed a transfusion immediately, you'd refuse the blood provided by the hospital because it was 'the wrong kind'? You'd risk waiting for your special blood to be delivered to the hospital, knowing that the child could die in the meantime?
I'm not affected by propaganda and I live amongst a large population of JW's. I witness their behaviour, their superior attitude and the fact that they are thankless - can't be seen talking to a non-believer, let alone thanking them! I know what I'm talking about, it's not hearsay, I see it every day.
Drink a lot as well, don't they!
/Go to the local Kingdom Hall and check it out for yourself./

goodlife there may be a kingdom hall near me

Siralec@ No matter what I say you have an answer because either 1) you' biased 2) you are not open to any agreement, 3) you have a closed mind.

Did you know you are actually fulfilling Bible prophecy?
I could go on all day but I am not going to continue because whatever I say is wrong in your eyes. But I will say this - time will tell.

And that is good bye from me.
