Just letting you kind souls who wondered how we are after my son's death. Well.... We're not too bad considering. His funeral was last Friday and he would've been so proud. He was a member of the UK Garrison (Star Wars) and donned his stormtrooper armour to help raise thousands of pounds for charity. His coffin was Star Wars based and 3 stormtroopers marched him into the crem. Before he died he told me that he didn't have a friend in the world, he'd have been shocked to know how many people turned up to say goodbye and that they loved him. Thank you all again for your kindness xxx

Masma...as one Mother to another, I send you nothing but good thoughts.

masma..I am so sorry for your very sad loss..words are inadequate..I hope with time you find some peace...xx
The marching storm-troopers must have been an amazing sight.

Your son sounds like the sort of guy that made people smile and feel happy. You obviously loved him and helped him in his battle against his demons.

Take care and visit often x

Masma, I have been thinking of you since your last post. I should think you rightly felt proud of your son and hope the presence of so many mourners warmed you and your family. My very best wishes to you, take care.
Stay with us, Masma. Best wishes. x

Masma, I didn't see your post about your son, but I want to give you my condolences. As a mother, myself, I can't bear to imagine what you're going through. It's great that he was so loved, but how sad that he didn't know it. Xxx take care
masma -I didn't see your original post, sorry. We have gone through the 'ordeal'/'turmoil'? of losing an adult child. OH's daughter died aged just 50 nearly 5 years ago. She had been a nurse.

You must be so proud of your son, as we are of Alison. It is always the 'wrong way round' but after this elapse of time we have emerged whole and can even talk about her. You will find the same thing, but there will always be a hole - shaped like your son. You can be proud and learn to live with the emptiness, I promise. You are on the right lines by celebrating his life.

You have our love and genuine understanding and sympathy. xx
His farewell sounds amazing and just right - may time help you a little and your memories give you smiles in the future. x
What a good send off he had.

Please keep all the good memories you have, and know that he is at peace now. Always know that you did everything you could for him. xx
Keep well masma. Thank you for posting . I'm sure that young grandson of yours is of some comfort to you all. Anne.x
