He didn't seem that sort of person mosaic,funny for a person famed for his fast and furious style that slow version of Ace of Spades has become my favourite piece he did.

I loved this in 1972 /73 with Lemmy on vocals.
I was never a big fan of Motorhead but loved Ace of Spades and one called Bomber I think.
I hadn't heard of his cancer until after hs death was announced

I found out about his death on my song thread last night/this morning from Erin - I was surprised that although I am not a huge metal fan, how much impact he and others like him had made on me via the music scene.

We don't know how long he'd been ill, or what he'd been suffering but at least it's over now, once again R.I.P. Ace.
