... my main injuries are 2 pelvic fractures and two fractures to my lower back, was in hospital for 2 weeks then home. I've been doing really well though Mr M thinks I've been pushing myself a bit too much, anyway...this morning while having a shower I decided I could bend down and shave my legs - big mistake! I'm in agony. My question is do you think rest and pain killers will sort it or should I see a doctor?

I agree with your assessment of the situation,painkillers and rest ( not too much) is what the doctor ordered.
However, don't become immobile, move about as much as the pain will allow.
Monitor the situation for the next 3-4 days.
I'm hoping Sqad will come along to give a professional opinion here but I'm guessing that he might like a bit more information, so I'll ask you a couple of questions:

1. Where is the site of your pain? (Your back? Your pelvis?) ;

2. What type of pain is it? i.e. is it clearly located to one very specific point (which could indicate a fracture at that point, especially if it's the site of one of your earlier fractures) or is it over a slightly more general area (which might suggest a muscle tear)? Is it very tender to the touch, or just there all the time?
Damn!

Crossed posts!

(Oh well, at least I tried!)
All relevant points that you raise Buenchico.........;-)

Thanks both! The pain is at the site of the lower back fractures, not particularly painful to touch but movement is sore and I just gave a big cough and nearly went through the ceiling!
Get Well, all I can say is...... Ouch!!
