Ok...over the past few days i've noticed that my laptop keeps giving me "Low Virtual Memory" warnings after having it on for a while. I'm not doing alot...just on the web with 2 Internet Ex windows open. I've done a check for any spyware/virus but turned up nothing. Am i doing something wrong?!?!?!?!

I had this problem and what it means is that you need to boost up your RAM say from 128/256 to 512( for example). This has come about because you have just too many (or too large) programmes on your computer. I got onto the following web site:

www.crucial.com/uk

and let them automatically scan my PC and it then recommends what is needed. Took the advice (it even comes with a PDF to tell one how to fit the relevent RAM.

Is your hard disk nearly full?

If so it may be that the Virtual Memory (which is held on hard disk) has not got enough room.

Right click on the icon for the hard disk and select Properties.
