Did both girls beat her up? Or did one of them punch her once?

AOG - ///// why don't you answer the point that SP has made, and I have reiterated? ///

As I have said countless times, because it has nothing to do whatsoever with the thread in question. //

It absolutely has to do with the thread in question!

But I can see that you are determined to evade a request to explain your change in views, so I will not pursue it any further. To be fair, you are performing true to character - there have been a number of occasions when you have been questioned about your approach to certain views, and in each case you have remained silent and let the thread move on.

Fair enough - but it does say something about you that you are so trenchant in expressing your views, but a shrinking violet when asked any questions about them - especially where ethnicity is involved somewhere.
It's not clear from the video is it Ummmm - in light of how the Police have responded maybe only the one girl threw a punch.

Awful thing, glad they found the culprit(s).
I only seen one hit....

It's the using of emotive language to try and excuse the stance on the Paris incident that bothers me.

I have tried to keep to the topic, it is crazy to do otherwise - certainly in this instance.

Think what you think, I couldn't care on iota.

You seem content to continuously treat me as a racist, and do you know I couldn't care about that either, except to say if and it is a big IF, if anyone did the same to you. you would either have them suspended or their post/thread removed.

In your PC muddled mind it seems that you don't show very much concern about that frail old lady, just as long as you get your support of the ethnic minorities over, after all they can do no harm in your eyes, even when it is show to all, as in this case.

Well if that makes you feel better then so be it, it was a good job that kind of thing didn't happen to your old granny.

/// Fair enough - but it does say something about you that you are so trenchant in expressing your views, but a shrinking violet when asked any questions about them - especially where ethnicity is involved somewhere. ///

I don't have to explain anything to you, I come on here to take part in debate, not to constantly having to explain each and every keyboard stroke, why i chose to put that word, why did I enter that question, why did I choose the place that sentence.

As many have criticised you in the past, you just get on most people's nerves, and this site would be a better place without you. so before criticising others look a little nearer to home if I were you (perish the thought).

Oh dear AOG you REALLY don't like it do you when someone gets right down to the nitty gritty of your bigotry and intolerance do you.

Oh, so that makes it all right does it, I don't know how old you are but regardless of that, would you have cared to be on the receiving end as that poor lady was.

But then it is obvious that you have much more important things on your mind than an injured 87 year old lady, hence:

/// It's the using of emotive language to try and excuse the stance on the Paris incident that bothers me. ///

You should be ashamed of yourself.

If it is bigotry and intolerance to stick up for an 87 year old lady, then roll out your insulting words, I couldn't care less, they are only words, feelings are much more precious, in this unfeeling world of ours.

DB "well done for standing up to the professional bleeding heart brigade".

By that, I assume you mean the majority of people here who are NOT hate-filled, punishment hungry bitter old Daily Mail reading sociopaths.

AOG - //Think what you think, I couldn't care on iota. //

The length and vitriol of your posts rather suggests otherwise! All I have done is agreed with a question raised by sp1814 about your apparent difference in attitude to two individual situations.

You persist in seeing that as some notion that the attack on an old lady is OK, even though no-one has remotely suggested any such thing.

And you reserve your usual personal bile and nastiness for me, I really don’t know why.

I am debating with you, not attacking you, or deriding you, or insulting you, simply asking a question, which you choose not to answer – fine, but to which you respond with nasty personal attacks – the last epic was deleted, but I did read it, more calling me ‘Hughes’ which you know I find offensive.

I don’t believe I get on ‘most people’s nerves’ – just yours.

You think the site would be ‘better without me’ – interesting because I don’t think it would be better without you.

I would be better though if you tried to be nice and civil, accept a question as what it is – not an attack, and see if we can stop the next thread from turning into you and I having arguments like this – again!

I will if you will – fair enough?

AOG - //If it is bigotry and intolerance to stick up for an 87 year old lady, then roll out your insulting words, I couldn't care less, they are only words, feelings are much more precious, in this unfeeling world of ours.//

Your increasing ability to miss the point being made to you, and to see what you want to see, is blunting your hitherto enjoyable debating skills.

That's just an observation, not an attack, no need to fire back at me unless you feel you have to.
AOG - Just to be clear - I do not see you as a racist, and i have never accused you of being one, it is your own hypersensitivity that blinds you to what I actually say. Have a look at this -

//Bazile - //I don't quite follow what you mean by ' if their community will hand them in '.

Do you think that because they are black that there is some doubt that a black person who knows their identity would not want to advise the authorities who they are ? //

Personally I did not pick up the inference that the term 'community' in AOG's reference referred to the notion of the 'black' community - more that it may simply be that local people would recognise these dreadful people and take steps to get them apprehended - but I think you are seeing a 'race' angle that is not actually there.//

Post 28 of your thread - which you have obviously forgotten - but have a think about that next time you are chucking you accusations about why don''t you?
AOG - //You seem content to continuously treat me as a racist, and do you know I couldn't care about that either, except to say if and it is a big IF, if anyone did the same to you. you would either have them suspended or their post/thread removed. //

I am getting tired of repeating myself, but I will until the message sinks in - I do not and never will delete any question simply because it is a personal attack on me, I don't operate like that.

And again for the umpteenth time, I would not suspend anyone for a personal attack, I have NEVER SUSPENDED ANYONE.

OK - can we move on now?
DB - do you mean "the professional bleeding heart brigade"?
If so, I can live with that, though I do find it ironic that the more militaristic types here on AB use the word "brigade" against anyone who is supposed to have a "bleeding heart" or is supposed to be a "hand wringer".
AOG

"If it is bigotry and intolerance to stick up for an 87 year old lady..."

That's not what I meant - of course it isn't and I think you know that (because I've seen you willfully side track people's views here often).
You have already seen my condemnation of the two perpetrators of this vicious assault.

My accusation of bigotry towards you was nothing to do with sticking up for an elderly woman, it was to do with the way you handle responses form other - how should I say - more tolerant and less angry members of this forum.
