Apologies but the written style of that article is so awful I've no desire to read any more and have not reached any important bit. I should've been forewarned when I saw the link address.

"How rude can you get" - If you're querying the tone of article then I'd say "Not much more than that".
Mr Xi, a man who presides over one of the world's most repressive regimes, and who got where he is today by exposing other "politicians'" corruption, might have been confused in the presence of all those democratically elected representatives, who live in fear of being caught out by their expense claims. He should indeed have been treated with great care.
Sad, but not surprising to see that the Daily Mail's tongue is just as
brown/yellow as the Cabinet's and the Royal Family's.
Then, of course, there's continued bafflement at the amount of hatred that the Speaker seems to attract amongst some members of the public as well as in his own party.

Yes but Chinese industrial espionage is easy to cover up, just like the source of much of the money that rolls into Tory coffers.
