Can anybody tell me what the long-range forecast for the west of Scotland (Strathclyde) in June predicts?

I'll be on holiday for the 2nd and 3rd week.

Thanks
Tara

Unfortunately, you will arrive just in the middle of the "European monsoon", which is nomally co-terminous with the entire month of June.

So, in general ,you can expect rain and cloudy weather through June in Scotland (and in the rest of the UK as well)

However, this is not absolutely certain and you might get lucky, I hope you are.

Best of luck and enjoy your stay, whatever the weather.

I suppose you have to expect more or less what you get.
It is Scotland , after all!

Thanks for your answer.

there really is no predicting it Tara - forecasters always get it wrong and it is common to get 4 season in one day here! We are going through a really nice spell at the moment although yesterday by mid afternoon it was pouring. All i can say is hopefully you will get some nice weather and see this area at its best but no guarantee. Plenty to be doing in wet weather though. Bring waterproofs and midge repellant. It wont be cold.
