It's bloody freezing here today, so not surprised about the forecast.

My granddaughter is home safe that's all i'm bothered about, apparently she was blue and not breathing when she was born, mum's placenta had ruptured, cord twice around her neck, the mid-wives worked on her for 10 minutes and brought her back, let it feckin snow, I'm just glad the man upstairs knows what needs to be done.

very very lucky, they didn;t tell me all of this until earlier this evening, poor mum was so calm afterwards I had no idea. When she phoned the hospital at 3am yesterday to say she was in labout they told her to wait a couple of hours before going in, when i got to the house at 3.20 I said we'd better set off cos of the thick fog. Fate eh? A fine night and I'd have gone along with the hospital.

It was really cold today. MrAsk has gout, very painful and I had to go to our local chemist to pick up some medication ordered from the doctors. I really hope he gets better soon. I was frozen when I got home. Don't fancy lugging shopping home in the snow.

I went to the chemist for my Old man today Gran...bumped into an old friend and stood nattering for 40 minutes...Was frozen and still can't get warm :o(
