Houses of parliament, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum and Natural History Museum offer easy access bursting with cultural and historical attractions to keep you occupied for hours or even days.

Other appealing features of London are The London Eye, Tate & Tate Modern, West End Theatres and Hyde Park. With such variety you will have no shortage of things to do and places to visit.

Other green open spaces in the city include Hampstead Heath, Whittington Park and Hackney Marshes that have all been seen as popular choices for tourists to visit and well worth a visit.

The City of London becomes really quiet at the weekend when the workers aren't there, so definitely merits a visit as it's full of historical buildings next to modern additions, so you can take a leisurely stroll around without being crowded with people. And, there is a lot to do for free. There are a number of museums and cathedrals you can stop at that won’t cost you a penny, for example, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Museum of London.

As with any city destination there are cons as well as pros, the London cuisine has been rated the least tasty and the locals are deemed to be the worst dressed. But with the huge amount of choice around the city you’re likely to easily find something you like or avoid what you don’t like.
