Hi

I'm due to travel to a different area to have my 2nd baby. I'm having to book self catering accommodation near the hospital I'll be attending.

I've to leave where I stay before i enter my 39th week of pregnancy so if i go a week before my due date I could end up needing accommodation for 2 or 3 weeks.

However, if I have my baby early at the hospital where I stay I'll not need to travel away or need the accommodation.

I'm trying to book somewhere and I've explained the situation to every company i've spoke to.

They've advised me to take out travel insurance to cover me if i do have the baby early but still have to pay for 3 weeks accommodation

Can you take out insurance knowing you might need to cancel?
