This is just a hyperthetical question (honest) are there any countries other than the USA where you are not granted an entry visa if you have a criminal record? if so how do they know?

Austalia and they check with with immigrants country of origin. Most countries have reciprocal arrangements..

I think it may depend on what kind of crime your hypothetical friend has been convicted of. Shoplifting is probably taken less seriously than dope.

If you have a conviction for dishonesty or drugs  you do not have a hope in hell of getting into Australia.

My boyfriend has a fellony in the state of NC and is illegal. I want him to be legall and I want to marry him so he can be legall will it work or will he be denied access to the US legally forever we have a baby girl she is a year and 3 months old.
