Hi,

I have my interview tomorrow at the American Embassy for my M-1 visa. I have put together all relevant paperwork for the interview but really do not know what evidence I can provide to show that I intend to return to the UK after my studies are finished.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

can you show that you already have some commitments here? Wife, home, job offers, anything like that?

Thanks for the reply, jno.

I'm not married, don't own a home and I am about to resign from my full-time job to commence pilot training in America, and until I graduate, I'm not likely to be offered a job.

The interview was actually surprisingly straightforward and lasted about 60 seconds. I didn't actually answer any questions nor was I asked to produce any of my evidence.
M-1 visa. Sounds like a student visa of sorts. Am I correct. If so then I can't imagine you would have to show evidence of returning. Can't imagine many students have evidence of ties.
