How long do you need on your passport to travel to turkey or greece? thank you

It is usually six clear months, but double check with travel agents.
It is not usually 6 months, as long as your passport is in date on the day you come back you will be fine

I assume you are either going with ir the same person as autumn? or coincidence you both post at the same time about the same thing? lol

Oh, and never beleive a travel agent! LOL

says 3 months. This is different from Greece as Turkey is not in the EU.
Greece: EU and EEA nationals are only required to produce evidence of their EU nationality and identity in order to be admitted to any EU Member State. This evidence can take the form of a valid national passport or national identity card. Either is acceptable.

Turkey: Passport valid for at least three months from date of departure from Turkey required by UK nationals
