leave Leicester 07h35, change at Derby and Edinburgh, arr Inverness 17h07.
to reach Portree the same day, take the "citylink" bus from Inverness at 17h30.
to reach Kyleakin the same day, take the train from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh at 18h15, then take the local bus from Kyle to Kyleakin at 20h55 or 21h55.
