We went to Cyprus last April and we did,nt get bitten by mosquito,s and my husband always gets bitten if there is a mossie about. Hope you have a brilliant time Take something warm to wear if you are planning on walking out in the evening it can be quite chilly, most of the bars and tavernas have patio heaters
Been to Cyprus many times in April to November over many years and can honestly say that in al lthe years I have been there never been bitten by mosquitos in fact cant remember even seeing or hearing any. Have a great time, get out of the big towns and check out the small villages, fantastic.
Never was troubled by the mossies but was troubled by the truck spraying insecticide that came round of an evening. Gassed all the wildlife for good measure. This was on the turkish side and I am sure they did it cos they hadn't installed proper drains, so the blowflies would be giving it plenty on all the sewage.
dont you wish Noah had squashed at least one of the little darlings.
Never seen mossies but there is a hornet type thing which is horrible
