weather in Florida in may

Can anyone tell me what sort of temperature to expect in Floriday 10th - 15th may.
Just a rough guess, taking the kiddies and wondered would we need cardigans for evening parade etc etc.? or is it really hot.

I go to stay with my son in Boca Raton, Florida every May and the weather is usually very good. Not as humid as high summer so more comfortable. You may need a light cardigan some evenings. It can get cloudy in May but still very warm.

Temp usually around 76 degrees

Should have added that it gets up to about 82 some days

I have found that you need a cardigan for when you go inside in the evenings!! Sometimes the air conditioning in restaurants is so strong that that you need cover up.

Thank you all very much for your answers, they really were helpful. Not too worried about me but I have two little girls and I've never been before.

We have a place out in Orlando and went out this May with the "mums". It was lovely, both mums got a slight tan but not too hot for them when walking around.

Second the bit about the air con - it can be vicious.
