MM & KM Links October [Week 4]

Has it been another week already? Another month even? We are coming to the end of the reign of King Grenmus the Great who is off to Chester this weekend to quell a rebellion in the far reaches of his domain. I only wish he could sort out the Shrubbery Squad!
Tomorrow morning, I am looking for robust attacks from all the frontrunners. I expect no less from jan1956, but jim needs to get his act together if he has serious designs on the November crown! He has had some great ideas, but they arrive just out of time for bonus points! Those linkers on four points (and there are lots) need only another three points to overtake the current leaders and take the honours. Whoever heads the MM League Table on Sunday evening will earn the right to set the MM link words throughout the month of November.
Look out for these games tomorrow morning starting about 7.30 am for KM and exactly 8.45am for MM. If you haven't yet joined in the crazy crowd, use tomorrow as a practice run and then all of NOVEMBER to gain the points needed to set the words in DECEMBER.

Hi All, I'm back from a 10 day break. I hope everyone didn't romp away with the points last week leaving me just some faint hope? Realistically, I think I will just have to write this month off.

Good evening crofter and all my loyal subjects.
King Grenmus the Great here. I have been touring the streets of Chester today, they were crowded with my subjects, but my Good Queen Vi still managed to get into the shops!!
We are just getting ready to go down to dinner, I'm hoping for duck on the menu but may well settle for steak.
Enjoy your night in the shrubbery and just think, as crofter post my final week's links, of us sitting in bed enjoying breakfast.

Well coven, I've had a large swig of the old aqua vitae and have, pith helmet on and machete in hand ventured forth. It's blo**dy dark in here, does nobody ever prune these rhododendrons. Where's that Sarumite chap, he promised to show me around and I'm a bit concerned particularly as I overheard some scary story about some bloke having to cook for his Mem-Sahib. She wants eggs? Let her have them molly coddled. Womans still got one good hand, what's she whingeing about. And this Pauline woman, something about a gamekeeper. Good grief, is that Oliver Mellors chap not up to the job these days, good upstanding member of society I'd heard. Oh well, can't hang around, need another noggin before Bedfordshire. Got to be up in plenty of time for that "show off, whose up earliest, damn crossword".
