Travel insurance for Mexico

Do you need insurance to cover USA if you are going direct to Mexico & can anyone recommend a good insurer.

If you mean a stopover changing planes in the USA then it would be a good idea. Some non-US policies do cover a brief transit in the US - you would need to check.

It's unlikely that anything will happen to you changing planes but if it does it would be a financial disaster for you.
You can get good cover at a fair price from the post office.

Any kids traveeling go free, and the cover includes luggage, money, passport, illness, etc.

2 weeks in Europe for a family is �50.
worldwide's a bit more, but Mexico for 2 weeks should be around �70 - �90.
Hi, im going to mexico this summer, we booked it through the travel agent and they didn't mention the USA - i dont think you need anything special for that!
