Go to Diabetes Uk for advice and a recommendation.

Don't just go to Diabetes UK- I know to my cost that they are not very competitive.

Google "Travel Insurance Pre-Existing Conditions " and there will be a more choices.

When I did this they undercut the insurace my wife had bought for me by 25%
I have respiratory problems - Emphysema - and buy an annual worldwide policy from Direct Travel. It costs 203 per year and covers me completely for my trips - I usually do 6 or 7 trips abroad in a year.

You can also get single trip cover from them. Call them - you can get a quote with no obligation to buy.

thanks for the help & tips.
Has anyone heard of Freedom travel insurance pls ?
Saga are good for pre-existing medical conditions and they cover everyone, not just older people. My husband has three medical conditions and they are always the cheapest.
I am insulin dependent and usually buy my travel insurance from saga with no problems
