Im going on a round the world trip in the summer and would like to buy an amazing camera to take with me, the problem is that disposable ones are about as far as i've gone in the past!

It needs to be quite small and light, with amazing zoom, neck strap.

I want quality photos that eventually when i return i can blow up and frame and put round my house.

Any ideas?

Yes, the Casio Exilim range.

I have my own four megapixel camera (ex-z40) and it has been brilliant. Now, these cameras come with a bigger screen at the back (the one I have was always considered larger than average).

I bought mine in Sept 2004 from Amazon for about 220 plus 20 for the 128 MB camera.

Now though you would be looking at buying say, a camera with between 7 and 12 megapixels and with a 1GB memory card!

Very easy to use by the way, and some models come in nice black or red colours.
