TO AB Editor-my apologies, but because your main site doesn't explain how to contact/thank Answerbank users who send answers to questions,me posting this "question" under your Travel section was the only way I could think of to thank your Answerbank user "Buenchico" for his/her detailed answer to my here-below referred to question on 3/11/06:

To the Ed - See!! this is why we need an announcments section

slowhand2 - sorry of hi jacking your thread!
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Most of the regular contributors to AB usually keep an eye on the posts which they've replied to. This is so that we can respond to subsidiary questions posed by the questioner or 'cross swords' with other contributors, who attempt to 'rubbish' our posts ;-)

So, they easiest way to acknowledge a post is simply to post a reply to your own question. (Alternatively, of course, there's always the 'stars' system. Just click on 'Rate this answer' to use it).

Thanks again for your post.

Chris
Hi slowhand2 - the usual way to post thanks is to 'Post an Answer' to your own question - you can also rate answers, giving people 1,2 or 3 stars as you think fit.
Does anyone know how to get ahold of AB user "buenchico." He is very helpful on this site and has a lot of great responses. He helped me plan my trip to the UK last year and I would like to get ahold of him. I had his email but my computer crashed and I lost it.
Thank You
Vito
