I have won a subscription with Club Seasons holidays (www.clubseasons.co.uk) and all I have to pay is 168 as half of the management fee for 2007. Is this a con?

I wouldn't trust any organisation that said I had "won" something then said I had to pay money.
all, there appears to be a lot of chat around regarding this company. I have an embarrassment of living in st albans, where they have a a major office so on the back end of some sharp calls. All sounds plausible have a read of this from another member at answerbank

which allegedly purportes to have comments from current and former employees of the company. This does not appear verifiyable.

secondly i listened carefully to the person apparently reading a script from something as i called in on my prize winning letter. Looks and feels great, but .....

i will not take up the offer, as a) i do not recall entering this competition, b) winning something means just that, i dont expect to pay a penny for something i won.

check the small print carefully, you are entitled to some odd dates and places ....

they are not having my money
TIMESHARE SCAM.

Steer WELL clear of them.
Umm... where's the SCAM? They tell you straight up what it's going to cost you.

I think it's ok as long as you go in with your eyes open. I got one too and having researched as thoroughly as I can I can't see a catch. (Unless of course you're one of those people who thinks it's a scam just because it's not completely free). The way I see it, the first year is half price, and after that it's only around 330 (+ inflation each year). I think you'd be hard pushed to find decent accomodation for 7 nights for four people for that kinda money. (I went to Butlins last year and the price was disgusting for really horrible accommodation!) Ok so it's going to be off peak but who wants to go on holiday when the place is full of screaming kids anyway. (I have kids of my own so don't bother having a go!) If the acommodation and amenities do prove to be decent then at least every year you know you're going to be holidaying with a consistant, reliable company. Plus the additionally discounted breaks are very reasonably priced, and anyone you know can take advantage of them.
This company should be avoided at all costs it is a genuine 100 per cent scam if you receive any further letters from them put them to the bin for further details about this company and other companies owned by the same person such as Season Holidays and Season Estates along with Club Seasons goto the following link http://www.crimeshare.net/94.html
