Can anyone tell me please if smoking is banned in public places in Cuba? And if so what constitutes a public place?
Also can anyone tell me what Cuba is like weather-wise in late June early July? And finally if anyone has visited Cuba would you recommend it?

No! I promise I just read it in a holiday brochure, I was taken aback too. It does sound weird though I agree

it's a couple of years since I was there, and people were smoking cigars in the streets then, but it could have changed. It will be really quite hot, but it's a wonderful place to visit (not for food, though).
