Ok, I will arrive at bristol airport about 07.30 to wait for my friends flight which is due to arrive at 08.55 (but has been arriving 30 minutes early this past month)

What is the best car park for 2-3 hours maximum stay? Is it the short stay or the rapid pick up car park? I don't fancy parking short stay and having to get a curtesy bus, and that is what all information is telling me. I rather park closer and walk to the terminal. So question one is what is the best car park to use to meet a flight? I fancy the rapid pick up but don't want to find that I get clamped if I am there a few hours - I am really totally confused about the length of time I could park there for.

Second question - I see that the rates all add a note about surcharge of 1.50 (except maestro and visa) well I have visa electron and I rather pay cash and not use a credit card. Am I right in assuming that the ticket machine accepts pound coins?

Sorry to be so dense, but in the early morning I really want to aim for one place and not drive round wondering where to park when I may be on a tight time limit to get from point a to point b
