Travel insurance for a week in France?

Please advise...me and my other half are travelling to France for a week (Ryanair) and we're both very skint (we lead our lives without any credit card or overdraft) Can you recommend the best sort of holiday insurance we can take out for the lowest cost? Would we need insurance against baggage loss or cancelled flights. Need we even bother? Please help we're a little naive on this...

Always best to have an insurance Post office do short stay europe insurance and a must is the E111 card also obtainable at post office or can get one from on line site
