There are lots of mosquitos all year round in much of India - a net would be a distinct asset on your travels, especially an impregnated one. If you don't already have one then buy one on arrival because it will cost a fraction of the European price (if you can find one).
If you decide to buy one over here the stratford pharmacy sell them as well as anti malaria tablets at a much lower price than high street pharmacies www.stratfordpharmacy will find them.they also have a brilliant anti malaria site with lots of great advice.I've used them several times as wetravel a lot
