Does any one know if you can bring i-pods into Cuba? I know they have restrictions on some things, don't want to get there and have anything confiscated off me! Any other tips or advice would be mostly appreciated.

Thanks x

Was in Cuba at Easter and had no trouble at all with my i-pod. However, it might be worth mentioning that we got searched at customs because of my copy of cosmopolitan magazine. They are VERY strict about pornography and apparently the adverts at the back may constitute this...

Thanks; just heard a few bits and bobs about Cuba...Also what is the score with adapters? what voltage do you need? Did you have a nice time? Thanks x
My boyfriend is telling me we took a northern american/canadian adapter. I don't remember at all... Cuba was 100v (apparently) but most modern appliances can take this. If it helps - I just plugged my i-pod charger into the adapter and it charged without any trouble! where're you going in cuba?
i went to cuba and took my ipod no problem..it was fantastic..check with your hotel what electrical appliances are there ..we had a hairdryer and cd player in the room already! just watch out for your return flight and heavy luggage ..they sting you with charges! x
Was in Varadero 3 weeks ago , No problem with the ipods just ensure that you have a bit of battery life left in it after the flight as some friends of mine got a bit of grief as they couldnt turn it on to prove what it was.
