Hello

I am wanting to travel around the world and i am looking for a travel company where they plan the route, arrange flights, hotels etc. Please can you give me websites of such companies which offer this service?

2 years ago I went round the world for 10 months. The only things I booked in advance were the flights (6 flights = a "round the world" ticket) and the hotel we stayed in for two nights in our first port of call (in Rio).

All other transport/accomodation was booked as we went. The majority of the time we just turned up in a town/city and then looked for accomodation, except over Christmas/New Year and local holidays when we booked ahead.

This served us well as if we liked a place we could stay longer if we didn't we could move on! We spent 4 months in S America, 1 month in NZ, 1 month in Oz, 1 month in Indonesia 2 months in SE Asia and then a month in India. Amazing.

We got our plane tickets through STA Travel who could sort out accomodation/trips etc in advance if you wanted.

Any travel agent can plan it for you. Just tell them when you wanna go, roughly how long for and a rough idea of the places you want to stop. Loads of airlines offer free stopovers which can save you big bucks just ask your agent to look into it for you. Also Star Alliance is a group of about 13 airlines who will allow you to fly up to 29,000 miles for one fixed price, 35,000 for another fixed price etc. Don't stress yourself about it, thats what agents are for! Have always used Trailfinders or TravelBag and found them both to be very good.

I used a company called Travel Consultants, specifically this lady - she was very, very helpful and got us a really good deal (well, I thought so) on a couple of holidays.
