Apologies to falky but the last thing I want when I go abroad is an English breakfast. What is wrong with the local food?
You beat me to it I was just going to say the same. Its all part of the holiday sampling the local food and culture.

What can one say?

(Try Blackpool)

Hi all.........don't questions like this make you shake your head in despair?

You want English.......stay in England.

As the saying goes "start the day with a good breakfast" nothing wrong with that ... you can try the traditional dishes later in the day! falky have a look on here for reccomendations where to have a "good english" www.holidaysuncovered.co.uk and enjoy your holiday...
Exactly Patricia - a good continental breakfast. When in Rome or wherever ...........
Puerto Pollensa is lovely, take a look at www.puertopollensa.com for lots of info. Whilst I agree that an essential part of holidaying abroad is to sample the local food, I think that "falky" probably wants to set themselves up for the day on a filling breakfast, so then free to explore without having to think about food until the evening. Continental breakfast doesn't really do anything for me either but really appreciate the diversity in choice of main meals in the evening.
