romanian orphanage

hi everyone!

i am looking for some help....i am hoping to volunteer in an orphanage somewhere in the world this summer. i have already done this in paraguay and am looking for new options. i was wondering if anyone had any contacts or ideas as i do not want to pay �2000 to an organisation for my hard work!! i would love to go to romania but am open to all options!! thank you. amy

you could try contacting The Servant Trust, whose objectives are to help children & adults in Romania and the UK. Contact detail on the website of one of the trustees, http://members.aol.com/*********/ They may not be able to offer what you seek but they probably have contacts to those that can.

I visited an ophanage in Luxor, Egypt last year, it was thru the travel company Explore Worldwide, who sponsor it. If you look on their website you can contact them for info, or if you google 'sunshine orphanage Luxor' you will get some hits . It was a lovely happy place and I'm sure they take volunteers.
