Hi going to the palladium soon and would like to have lunch and or cocktails prior to performance but I'm a bit limited in how far I can walk. Anyone have a suggestion for a nice place?

There's no shortage of places for food and drink around Soho!

Ember Yard serves tapas and cocktails.  It's 0.3 miles (6 minutes) from the Palladium:

Scarlett Green is an Aussie food restaurant, serving cocktails, 0.3 miles (5 minutes) from the theatre:

Sucre is an Argentian-inspired restaurant, serving cocktails, just 0.1 mile (3 minutes) from the Palladium:

Amalfi is an upmarket Italian restaurant, with cocktails served, almost directly opposite the theatre:

Aqua Nueva is a Spanish restaurant, directly facing the Palladium:

maybe a bit far to walk but buses would get you quickly to the eateries at the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery next door, if you wanted to dine artistically.

ABar Rooftop London, 22 Hanover Square, London W1S 1JP - 0.3 miles walking from the London Palladium

Please note the minimum spend is GBP 50 per person  from 4pm to close on Thursday to Saturday), but outside of those days and times it's a good option for a single cocktail.  If you were having two cocktails and some nibbles it would cost that much anyway.

Thanks all very useful. I looked at radio rooftop bar but didn't want to spend 40 each although I probably will! Maybe I'll take some cocktails in cans and sit on a bench😁

That's a long way. If you can walk that far, you have lots of options. For example, the American Bar at the Savoy is a bit closer.

Nah I had thought of tubing it but a have a great of being late for things. The ticket s were so damn expensive I don't want to miss any of it! It's only a few robber stops from the station to Oxford circus, so I want something around the area between Oxford circus and argyle Street I suppose

Question Author

Robber stops? I mean tube stops of course

I am sure there are pubs in the area & eateries all within walking distance of the Palladium.

Right, that's why I suggested the ABar ...

AB has broken the link. Try these walking directions in Google Maps:

ABar Rooftop London, 22 Hanover Square, London W1S 1JP

The London Palladium, 8 Argyll St, London W1F 7TF
