On the National Rail app, a return off-peak adult ticket from Blackheath to London Bridge costs £8.30. Using a third-off Senior Railcard, the cost reduces to £6.35. By my reckoning this reduced price should be £5.33. Does anyone have any thoughts about why this is?

£5.53 ?

Because they can ?

Okay are you sure you areYou on the national rail app? you

i ask cause i cant make it say any of those prices for that journey!

Me neither

I'm seeing an Anytime Day Return ticket at £9.80 without a Railcard or £6.50 with one.  (There's no Off-Peak option available).

However those are National Rail tickets.  TfL tickets are cheaper, using contactless payments (or an Oyster card) for two single journeys.  Without a Railcard the total fare is £7.40 (i.e. £3.70 each way). With a Railcard the total fare is £4.90 (i.e. £2.45 each way).
