And so it starts, the fascism, as predicted.

Eh? Lol
It rankles the hell out of certain ones that I dare to want to go abroad on holiday , I don’t mind sticking my head above the parapet for that, I do
Don't care where you go. The fascists couldn't make vaccines compulsory, so now, as predicted, they'll make life difficult for the unvaccinated. (another 'conspiracy theory' that turned into reality)

Not sure I follow your facist theory Spicey, but okay
"It would also be recommended to member states to prepare digital portals that will enable Britons to use the NHS app as a vaccine passport."

How long would that take to set up taking into account data protection issues?
// And so it starts, the fascism, as predicted.//

holiday fascism ? what would musso and hitler have said?
si si and Jawohl ?

can I ask artlessly: holiday fascism what dat den?
Great, that's the way to go they should start checking vaccinations for everything in my view.

Seems the right thing to do when you’re entering another country and returning to yours
Spice: "Don't care where you go. The fascists couldn't make vaccines compulsory, so now, as predicted, they'll make life difficult for the unvaccinated. (another 'conspiracy theory' that turned into reality)" - surely there'll be a tin hatters holiday destination soon! Seriously I never had you down as a conspiracy theorist.
spice: "The fascists couldn't make vaccines compulsory," - if they were fascists they would have!
Not to sure if this is a good idea, with the outbreak of the Indian Variant in the UK ........ Bringing it with them to the Holiday resorts.
many of those holiday resorts have been on their knees, begging for the return of tourists to get them out of the economic mire. I won't be going on holiday any time soon, not because i don't want to. I would go like a shot but pain in both legs, knees prevents me venturing forth. I envy those who have gone abroad and those who are going in the near future.

It feels more important for us this year Emmie
Make them stay in the UK . The economy needs them.
with Mr B's birthday big coming up...i can see that.
you can't make people stay in the UK, no more than you can make people get a vaccination. If they want to go and find some sun, and who doesn't, then good luck to them.
Blackpool, can be very nice this time of the year.
What's wrong with Weston Super Mare , with a candy floss and a kiss me quick hat, for the old dears.
And its safer . There's no one there.
if that's where you live then fine, i won't be going there any day soon, i might get to see family later in the year, not now.
My passport went out of date last year and I haven't bothered renewing it yet. The way things are at the moment, I can't see doing it for a while - all far too complicated.

Also I don't have a phone or anything that has this NHS app. you are all on about and apparently my vaccination card won't do, so I suppose I'll wait until they find out how to include the info. on a passport. I may add that it's OK for other countries to demand whatever certification against various diseases if they want to, but I am totally against 'Covid Passports' being used inside the UK.

Hope you get your holiday Bobbi. :)
