Are you trying to get a refund? Some of these companies are trying all sorts of technical tricks to delay things. They must be desperate though with no bright lights on the horizon

FF,
I'd a flight booked for the 16th.
I thought I'd cancel it and accept a voucher. But if i can't contact them I'll just have to accept the loss of a few Euros.

is the flight still going? If so, then you may not be able to cancel without penalty, it'll depend on their T&C. But if they have cancelled it then no, they don't get to steal your money. Keep a record of what you've done in trying to contact them and what they haven't done.
