Hi there, we are going away and flying with Ryanair, departure tomorrow.
There are three of us and we have purchased a 10kg check-in bag each.
Can we pack two suitcases, 1 x 20kg and 1 x 10kg, or do we have to have 3 x 10kg suitcases does anyone know?
Thanks!

10kg, sorry!
3. They sometimes size them.
From past experience Ryanair expect you to turn up with what you've booked or they put their hand out for money.
I agree with Douglas. I only fly Ryanair if there really is no alternative.
No they don't Doug. They make it all pretty clear.
In my experience, ummmm, they stick to the letter. I've seen people obliged to put their coats on and dump duty free because of the one item carry on rule. I would take exactly what I've booked to take - or less. Never more or different.
They let you take on two bags now. Your suitcase and a handbag.
Isn't that only if you pay for priority boarding?
I've never paid for priority boarding. I've only used Ryanair between England and Ireland though.
Their seat are still *** as well
Quote:
"Customers can pool or share their purchased baggage allowance with other passengers included in the same flight reservation when checking-in together.

For example, if a reservation has two checked bags of 20kg (40 kg in total) one of the bags could weigh 15kg and the other 25kg (40 kg in total). "

We simply just wouldn't use them.
Baldric, sometimes there's no choice. For example they're the only airline offering flights to Carcassonne in southern France.
I'd rather use Ryanair than any other airline in the world.
Why?
And the only ones from Luton to Knock.

I have no issue with them either.
I admire Michael O'Leary's business practices.

He never pretends that the main aim of running the airline is to serve passengers but openly admits that it's PROFIT that matters most (as it ALWAYS should with any well-run business).

Despite that, Ryanair still operates more on-time flights than almost any other airline, with far fewer lost bags than many other airlines and at prices that almost anyone can afford.
Can I suggest that you go to Buenchico's link, print off a copy and take it with you?

Naomi @ 1618,
There is always a choice, just don't go!
