What would be the best train route from ROTHERHAM to ALNWICK? And from LONDON to ALNWICK? And how long would those journeys take?

Looks like there's a couple of ways - Rotherham to Doncaster and then to Alnmouth (Which is nearby), or you can go direct from Kings Cross, and the trains run every two hours.

You can also get a Bus nearby, and it takes about 13 minutes in total (Depending on where in Alnwick you want to be).

Should have said that Rotherham Central To Doncaster is with Northern, and Doncaster to Alnmouth is the East Coast Main Line with Virgin.
