Anybody tried to barter Kuoni down on their initial price?

I know they’re not the cheapest, but having had a completely fault free multi destination holiday through them, I’m reluctant to trust companies like Travelbag etc etc.

Barter? Are you offering them a bunch of rhubarb and a jar of jam for a discount?

I think you will find the price is the price and there is no room for negotiation.

Interested to hear from others otherwise.
Assuming that you have not yet committed to the holiday and paid a deposit and depending upon the price of your holiday, you could try contacting travel agents who offer holidays through Kuoni and ask if they would offer you a discount on the price if you instructed them to take over the booking.
I don't normally go on package holidays but in 1989, we went on a two-centre trip to Switzerland, with Kuoni.

We arrived at Zurich and left via Geneva. We never saw our luggage until we reached our 1st hotel, in Grindelwald. The connection with the second centre, in Zermatt was just the same...flawless.

It was completely fault-free, although that may have been due to it being in Switzerland, more than anything else.

Eccles, I fear you may be correct.

Thanks to all for their opinions. Much appreciated.
Having used Kuoni I would say they are the John Lewis of customer service, absolutely brilliant. There is no harm in asking, we got 10% off an expensive trip (6K ish gross) because we'd heard they give discount to our employer. Give it a go.
