What's the best kind? I'm not really interested in the all day ones. I've tried them and got through a couple of bottles to still burn! Even after reapplying frequently. I burn quite easily so I've contemplated the piz buin allergy (I've heard it's good for sensitive skin) but before I spend a fortune on them.. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks

I buy kids' suncream, it's cheaper and always very effective - if it'll protect a child's delicate skin it will also work for an adult.
I'm with chiaroscuro here. I have to watch my sun exposure, especially to my hands and arms, and I carry a Boots SF50 Childrens cream with me in the car.
I have a friend Ellie who has sensitive skin and I know she's used that Piz Buin allergy and she is very happy with it.
Ellie....get the highest sun protection factor you can find ! Skin cancers are on the increase in Britain

Try this stuff. I wouldn't use any other.
I've often used the Piz Buin Allergy because I heard it stops heat rash (which I get and it doesn't!) As a sun cream it's no better than any other, You sound like you need a reasonable quality factor 50 and limit your time in the sun if you burn anyway.
This may sound silly but slip and slap as well as slop....slip on clothing and slap on a wide brimmed hat as well as slop on the sun cream.
I too use kids suncream. It offers better protection and is higher sf factor.
I've always found that Boots own brand works best for me . Usually a minimum of factor 30 as I'm quite pale.
Are you sure you're putting enough on? I live with a ginger and he spends about 20 minutes applying sun cream. No specific brand though.
I do my best to avoid direct sun but when I am out and about in it I use this specific product. Its a bit expensive, but goes a long way and is all natural. very effective. Works for me.
