Does anyone know of a site that will show me how to say the Thai words not how they are written in Thailand.

Thanks Webbo, but I could do with a site that prints the word the way it's spoken. Such as Tel-i-graf, (telegraph) or Dik-shuh-ner-ee, (dictionary).
This Lonely Planet thread suggests a purely phonetic approach to saying Thai words isn't enough, since there's a tonal system which needs to overlaid on top of it:
". . . phonetics won't help unless you also understand the tonal system. You really don't want to say you like eating dog poo when you mean that you're fond of horse riding - the only difference is the tone ascribed to the words"

Thanks for the info Buenchico. I thought I might try and learn a few phrases for my hols, but there could be a change of plan and I might go to Bridlington instead.
You just need to speak English, but shout louder.
