I suggest googling this line:
'review titan awe-inspiring national parks'

All of the pages that I've looked at (through doing that search) have posts from people complaining that they spent most of their time on the bus between the parks, rather than actually enjoying the sights. e.g:

Thanks Buenchico, that was the tripadvisor review I was looking for.
I have never been on a coach trip but I have been to all these places under my own steam, so to speak. I just rented a car and took off !

Self drive holidays in the States are really easy. The roads are almost empty, the cars are well-equipped and the fuel is cheap. The accommodation is very affordable in Motels and you will meet the ordinary people, rather than lots of other tourists

If you can't do that, then pick a tour that is less ambitious. The main trouble with these coach tours is that they try to see too much, in too little time. Its the equivalent of seeing Edinburgh and then starting out for Bath the next day, seeing Bath for about an hour and then driving to Lands End !

Take the Grand Canyon for instance. Its nowhere near anywhere ! But to spend hours driving there and then have just 90 mins is daft. Say at each of the National Parks for 2-3 days and really see what's to be seen.

These coach trips involve most of each day, watching this wonderful scenery for the windows of the bus, driving from each "comfort break" to another !

Give it some thought Fishy !
One last point...don't even think about doing any of these trips in July or August. Punishingly hot ...you will be running from one air-conditioned place to the next air-conditioned place ! And horribly over-crowded.

Go in late September-early October.
there's something to be said for having someone else do the driving, but that all sounds a bit rushed to me - though I've driven myself on similar trips, I've never crammed in that much.

I haven't been on a Titan trip, though, so I can't answer your question directly.
These Titan coach tours are the equivalent of the sort of tours American make when they come to Yoorop...if its Wednesday it must be Belgium.

I know Americans that will start off in London for 3 days, then drive all the way to Edinburgh stay 24 hours and then drive back down to Stonehenge, walk around the outskirts of that for an hour and then take the bus back to London.

If you are going to take one of these Western coach tours fishing81, chose one that is less ambitious and one that leaves you at least two days in each National Park.....you really don't want to drive for hours to get to the Grand Canyon and then only spend an hour or two there.
Hi I did the Titan Golden West tour this September. Weather was good, sunny but not too hot, although 100f at Arizona border. Lots of time spent on coach, would have liked some more time and various spots such as Yosemite.,highlight though was HELI trip over Grand Canyon.
