im on holiday later this month ive just noticed that my passport runs out in September does anyone know is there a date as to renewing my passport will i be okay

you can use your passport within Europe up until the last day - so no worries.

If you were traveling further afield, you could have been in trouble, as some countries require 6 months remaining on your passport from the date of return.

Look at the FCO website for guidance. Your passport only has to be valid for travel with in Europe. Very few countries have a 6 month requirement; not even the USA!
