Kings Cross and Liverpool Street
Kings Cross
Question Author
thank you both
Liverpool Street is - sometimes - cheaper
Depends when you're going, no trains from Liverpool St to Cambridge this weekend
You on that ridiculous line Elvis? No trains any weekend during November as OH found out when he tried to go to Chelsea last week, I had to drop him off at Tottenham Hale. I wasn't best pleased.
Strewth Rocky - Tottenham Hale is badlands central - did you take a minder?
Lol, I always put the central locking on as we pass Ikea ;)
Fraid so Rocky, as an employee and not a commuter though!

That particular line is covered by us but the engineering works are nothing to do with us.

hello Dee Sa

coming up to see me?
i had better run the hoover around
Choose King's Cross. Trains take about 48 minutes non-stop, some do stop about twice, and go every half an hour at 15 and 45 minutes past, sometimes perversely at 14 and 44. Some go on to Kings Lynn and divide at Cambridge, so sit in one of the 4 carriages nearest the barrier, otherwise, if you doze off or aren't paying attention , you could be in Ely or Watlington or somewhere! before you know it
King Cross is the right one
The sign awaiting you at the station is particularly fine:

"Welcome to Cambridge: Home of Anglia Ruskin University". Of course this is its most famous feature...
