I'm on a mission to book a holiday for Tenerife in November, preferably all inclusive. I'm looking for a cheap deal for 7-10 days, ideally flying from Southampton, Bournemouth, or Gatwick (Gatwick as last choice).

OH and I will be going with a friend, who particularly wants to go to the Los Cristianos area, avoiding the Playas De Las Americas area. I've never been to Tenerife, and searching through there is quite a price difference between the two areas. What are your experiences of Tenerife? Any other areas close to Los Cristianos that you could recommend?

Tenerife's only like that in the hotspots though ann, other parts of the island are far less troublesome.
Good point about the wind - it's always windy on the islands, but sometimes worse than others!

Loads of great advice here, cheers. Very excited as I booked my main holiday today for next July to Zakynthos. I'm feeling more positive about Tenerife now, although think I might just book one week. Booking on Monday and considering the El - Medano area
More 4 now - just started - 'A place in the sun' is in north Tenerife
Just back from Tenerife, Torviscas area on Costa Adeje. Fabulous. The only timeshare-flogging person we saw was at the airport on the way back.
