I have an opportunity to take a DFDS mini cruise to Germany out of Harwich for two and just pay the port charges, and obviously food on board if desired.  Has anyone done this who could tell me what it is like?  The cabin I would be allocated would be a basic two berth inside with private facilities.

Thanks.

We went on one of those last year, and it was great fun. The entertainment on board was really good, and the cabins, although basic were comfy and warm. The food on board is quite expensive though.
