Simple...does my boyfriend need a passport (or photodrivers license) to travel to Belfast? We'd probably be going by train then ferry, incase that makes a difference. Thanks!

No he does not, as Belfast is as much a part of the United Kingdom as London is.

If you choose to fly, you will need a photographic ID, but not necessarily a passport.
