When I went to Brighton a few years back I'm sure there was a petrol station on Marine Parade that charged about 3 for 24-hour parking. Does anyone know if it is still there? Or if not, are there any other cheap parking options as I am staying at The Metrohole on the sea-front for 4 days and don't want to pay 16 per day!!

No It is not still there, You will be better off parking in the Park and Ride car park in Withdean. It is free to park there and just by a single ticket on the park and ride bus which runs from around 7.30am till 6.30pm takes about 15mins. It will cost you 1.70 Single. Other than that you can park anywhere outside the city centre try Hollingbury or Hollingdean and catch a bus into the centre for 1.70. This will take about 20 mins.
