Twin cordless phones

I only have one telephone pointin the house so am looking to have a remote phone upstairs. Are thes cordless phones the answer. Regards in advance

I have a downstairs telephone which is connected to the phone line and upstairs I have a second handset. It doesn`t need a telephone point - just an electrical power point. It gets it`s signal from the phone downstairs. Mine is Panasonic and they`re very good.

Thank you for that . Seems to be answer. Since original post I looked at the PANASONIC KX-TG 8422 CORDLESS PHONE.

Goof idea - Panasonic make the best DECT phones on the market.

Thank you Rojash. After more research I might just go for the Panasonic.KX-TG6522 TWIN
bit cheaper but wiil do the job I think.
